Migrating to v2
v2 is a new collection at a new address. Your turtle moves across, and it moves across whole.

Nothing resets. Nothing is recalculated. If you spent months growing a 10.00 share turtle, a 10.00 share turtle is what arrives.
You are not minting anything. You are moving.
How it works
One approval for the whole collection, then one transaction that moves every turtle you picked. A wallet holding two hundred turtles crosses in a single transaction.
The old v1 token is transferred to the migration contract and parks there forever. It is not burned and it is never resold.
Why transfer and not burn. v1 resets a growing Pristine turtle's share the moment it moves. Almost the entire live collection is a growing Pristine. If migration simply asked you to send your turtle somewhere, you would arrive at v2 with 1.00 share instead of what you had. The migration contract holds a specific permission on v1 that lets it move your turtle without triggering that reset, which is why your share survives the crossing intact.
Do I have to migrate?
Your v1 turtle keeps working as it always did. But v2 is where the growth, the arena, the stocks and every future mechanic live, and the royalties follow the new collection.
Ceilings change on arrival
This is the one thing that does change, and it changes in your favour.
