Legendaries
Seven turtles are not born in the wild. They are not minted by the public. They walk a third path — one no one else can ever join.
Each one is built from a different element. Origami. Bone. Ghost. Robot. Glitch. Cosmic. And one whose name is still sealed. Hand-crafted 1/1 pieces, animated, fully on-chain. Born at the maximum share, immune to the rules that bind everyone else.

How they're created
Legendaries are minted by the contract owner before the public mint opens. The contract enforces this — once any public mint happens, the legendary slots are locked forever.

Legendaries are not sold. They are raffled to the community.
- Snapshots are taken of all holders at a public block.
- Each holder gets one raffle ticket per whole share their turtles hold. Fractional shares round down (e.g. 5.7 shares = 5 tickets).
- A turtle at 10.0 (Pristine maxed) = 10 tickets.
- A turtle at 9.0 (Forged maxed) = 9 tickets.
- Aggregate across all the turtles in your wallet.
- Random winner picked using verifiable on-chain entropy.
The more committed your hold, the more tickets you get. Patience compounds.
Raffle rounds are off-chain by design. Each round publishes the snapshot block, the entropy source (a future block hash), and the weighted draw script. Anyone can verify the result independently. The contract just receives the final transfer — the raffle process itself is run transparently on top.
What makes a Legendary special
- They earn 20% more than any other turtle — 12 shares vs. the Pristine cap of 10.
- They are sale-resistant — no share reset on transfer, ever. A Legendary in any wallet keeps every share it has.
- They are fire-resistant — cannot be sacrificed in a forge. Cannot survive a forge. The contract refuses both.
- Their art is unique — hand-crafted 1/1 pieces, animated, not procedural.
The seven
Each Legendary is a one-of-a-kind animated pixel piece. They share the silhouette of the regular collection but their body is made of something else entirely. Seven turtles. Seven elements. No two will ever be the same.

Each Legendary is fully animated on-chain — frames cycle natively in the SVG returned by the contract. No IPFS, no external host, no off-chain dependency. What you hold is what is rendered, forever.
They are part of the 10,000
Legendaries occupy token IDs #1 through #7. Public mint starts at #8. The total supply remains 10,000 turtles — seven of them are simply special by design.
